Mark Gignac, N.D., M.S.A.

holds a master’s degree in acupuncture and is a doctor of naturopathic medicine. He has lectured and practiced in the Seattle area since 1992, when he obtained his ND from Bastyr University. Dr. Gignac holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry-nutrition from the University of Ottawa and pursued graduate studies at the University of Windsor. In addition to his duties as teacher and healer, Dr. Gignac has participated in numerous clinical studies of herbal and homeopathic medicine. He has served as a member of the board of directors of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, as well as chairperson of its Public Affairs Committee.

Paul ReillyPaul Reilly, ND, L.Ac.

is a 1985 graduate of Bastyr University and is licensed to practice in Washington, Alaska and Oregon. He completed a master’s degree in acupuncture in 1995 and holds both national accreditation and state licensure as an acupuncturist. Dr Reilly is co-author of "How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine," published in fall of 2002. His work also has been published in the Textbook of Natural Medicine, Journal of Naturopathic Medicine, Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients and Health Store News. He serves on the editorial board of Natural Medicine Online and also served as a consultant for the Sheridan Research Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving treatment for cancer patients.

Dr. Heidi K. Lucas, N.D.

is a graduate of Bastyr University and a doctor of naturopathic medicine. She specializes in botanical medicine, clinical nutrition homeopathy and therapeutic yoga, addressing all aspects of health and lifestyle. In addition to her position at Seattle Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center, Dr. Lucas guest lecturers at Bastyr and the University of Washington. She is a Wellness, Yoga and Meditation facilitator for Cancer Lifeline in Seattle, and holds certification in Yoga of the Heart. Dr. Lucas currently serves as an admissions interviewer at Bastyr. As a doctorate student there, she served as a Community Educator and Medicinal Herb Garden Coordinator.
