Dr. Scott Schini

Dr. Scott Schini received his Bachelors of Science as well as his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (1991( from the University of Wisconsin (you know, the "other" UW!) He practiced in both Wisconsin and Chicago area for 10 years before moving out to the Seattle area in 2001 with his wife Alice so that they could be closer to her family. They make their home in the Maple Leaf Neighborhood with their 2 rambunctious (and only occasionally ill-behaved) young collies named Mickey and aptly named most recent addition, Scott, and 2 cats, Ollie and Snookie . In his "spare" time, he enjoyes hiking, traveling, gardening, and visiting some of the local dog parks.

Dr. Annie Dittrich

Dr. Annie Dittrich hails from Anchorage, Alaska. She completed her undergraduate degree in 1995 at the University of Vermont, majoring in Studio Art. She then went on to Washington State University for veterinary school, graduating in 2003. Dr. Dittrich is married to another veterinarian, Dr. Conrad Kornmann. They recently became parents to a baby girl, Greta. The rest of their family includes two Blue Tick Coonhounds, Bella and Leroy, and one cool black cat named Steve. When not taking care of dogs, cats, and newborns, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and backpacking!

Casee James

Casee James is the office manager, as well as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at Maple Leaf Veterinary Care Center. She was born and raised in the Sammamish/Issaquah area and received her Bachelors of Arts in 2002 from the University of Washington in Sociology. Casee has worked in the veterinary community since 2001 in a few special hospitals on the eastside. She currently lives with her husband Ben in Bothell and they share their home with two charming Welsh Corgis named Jerry Lee and Doglet (Letty) as well as two Uromastyx lizards. Outside of the clinic, Casee enjoys working as a residential real estate agent, and enjoys reading, traveling, and scrapbooking! Ben and Casee are expecting their first child at the end of March!
