A musician dedicating time, energy, and love to helping others achieve excellence through music... Emily began her life as a cellist at 10 years old. Her early involvement in the music community consisted of multiple chamber groups, North Texas' Five-Pointed Star Quintet, Forth Worth Youth Orchestra, and Chamber music Coaching. Since that long time ago, her involvement in the surrounding music community has only increased. She has performed in venues both big and small - Bass Hall (Fort Worth, TX), Triple Door (Seattle), Sanctuaries (across the nation), and Hemmle Hall (Lubbock, TX.) She has studied the cello under great names such as Myrna Trent, Vincent Pugh, Dr. Alexander Ezerman, and Dr. Nathan Whittaker. www.emilyannpeterson.com
