John Kelly |
John Kelly (Doctor) was born in Seattle, but has lived in Europe, the Near East and Central America as a boy. John Kelly obtained his B.S. and D.V.M. degrees at Washington State University. He joined Dr. Coe in 1975, first as an employee, then as full partner in 1983. Dr. Kelly finds that practice continues to be a welcome challenge due to constant improvement of the diagnostic and treatment modalities that are utilized to improve the quality of health care for the beloved pets that EBAH is privileged to service |
Sherrie Crow |
Sherrie Crow (Doctor) has worked as a veterinarian at EBAH since 1998, with her entire career being in private practice. Originally from Western Washington, she received her degree from Washington State University of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Sherrie enjoys working to keep pets health and happy, while the medical and surgical cases provide a new challenge each day. When not working, Sherrie likes hiking, cooking and plays in a local marimba band. Of course, her three cats prefer Sherrie to stay at home and snuggle with them. |
Heather Weihl |
Heather Weihl (Doctor) graduated from Tufts University in 1988, fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Although she has worked with all kinds of animals from sloths to snow leopards, she most loves caring for your four legged family members from their pediatric through senior years. She spends time volunteering, playing trombone and accordion, and has three exceptionally talented and beautiful cats. |
Deborah Tegarden |
Deborah Tegarden (Doctor) was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and received her undergraduate degree at Portland State University. She graduated in 2001 from Oregon State's Veterinary school and having attended WSU for two years, she considers herself a cougar. Beginning her practice in Everett, WA, she is thrilled to have joined the Elliott Bay team of doctors in March of 2003. Deborah enjoys both surgical and medical cases. Boxers hold a very special place in her heart, lucky for Deborah as she has two of them! Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, camping, running, reading, and learning how to fish and play softball. She counts herself fortunate to live in such a lovely city and be a part of such a wonderful community. |
Karen Myhre |
Karen Myhre (Doctor) grew up on a small farm in Indiana where her earliest patients represented a wide menagerie of different species. After veterinary school at Purdue University she limited her practice to dogs and cats, first practicing in San Jose, and then moving to Seattle. A little known fact is that she has been associated with Elliott Bay Animal Hospital since 1990. In the later 1990's she took some years to practice limitedly and spend time with her then young children (now in middle school). As she returns to three-quarter time practice, Karen looks forward to renewing old relationships as well as forming new ones with the clients (and pets!) of Elliott Bay Animal Hospital. |
Dr. Aimee Smith |
Dr. Aimee Smith (Doctor) grew up in the Seattle area and has a great love for the Pacific Northwest. She studied biology and chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Washington, and lived in New York City, working as a Marketing and PR coordinator before returning to the Northwest to attend Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Smith has volunteered with the ASPCA in New York City, the Doney Veterinary Clinic for disadvantaged owners in Seattle, and the King County Humane Society. |

Annie received her B.A. from Georgetown University and her Veterinary degree from Washington State University. Annie has recently moved to Ireland with her husband and in a few years, may return to EBAH as a Relief or Part-Time Veterinarian. She spends her free time with her great friends, family, and her 2 dogs, Moo and Bruno |
Karon |
Karon, Front Office Manager, has been with EBAH since 1998. She moved here from Alaska where she was born and raised and enjoys her job because helping others is her passion. Animals have always been one of the biggest parts of her life. Karon feels this is a wonderful place to live her "second life" as her "first life" is spent with her husband, daughter and 3 super cute cats, Baby, Dizzy and Diesel! |
Deborah |
Deborah joined the team at Elliott Bay Animal Hospital in August 2001. After working in the Hotel Industry for several years, she decided to follow her heart and work with animals. Throughout her childhood, while growing up in the country, Deborah was blessed to have had many family pets. She currently has 4 cats and 2 dogs. Deborah foresees herself living back in the country someday with a barn full of horses, chickens, cats, dogs, ducks and a goat. |
