Cyrena attended Seattle Pacific University from 1997-2001, in which she graduated with her B.A. in Music with vocal emphasis. She then went on to a successful career as music teacher/choral director at Christian Faith School in Seattle from 2002-2005. Cyrena resigned from her position at CFS in 2005, due to other endeavors and the great joy of starting a family with her husband of 6 years, Dave Denniston.
