Spaces staging and design - Felipe Rodriguez

While Spaces Design has good reviews for staging, their personal interior design service is terrible. I do not recommend them to anyone. There are three reasons I am dissatisfied with Spaces Design: (1) Advice. Felipe did not offer a plan, design advice, research, suggestions or expertise. (2) Timeliness. We first met on Dec. 19, signed the contract on Jan. 12, and had not accomplished anything by Feb. 28 (when I cancelled the contract). While I understand that the holidays, illness, and other jobs may have slowed things down, this pace is unacceptable. (3) Communication. Felipe is slow to respond, at best, and does not return phone calls. The low point came today, when Felipe sent me a bill with 5 line items, of which 4 are completely fictitious. This is going to be a nightmare to sort out and, to be honest, I’m shocked. I spoke with a few friends and colleagues about their designers, and they have all had much better experiences.
