Andy Mars Photography (New York, NY)

Andy Mars is freelance photographer, photo artist and instructor. She is an event photographer specializing in Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and Pet Photography. As an artist, she integrates photography with watercolor, acrylic paints, pastel chalk and pencils to create unique one-of-a-kind photo paintings. For a painterly effect she shoots at slow shutter speeds to create blurry dreamlike images. She prints on a variety of materials, including textured photo papers and canvas, as well as traditional photographic paper. Andy’s main areas of "focus" are nature, people, animals, seascapes and urban scenes.
