Alford's Photography (Kansas City, KS)

Our Studio started operations in our home (1977) here in the Turner School District. We purchased a building across from the Turner Elementary School and relocated in the fall of 1999. John and myself are both Turner Graduates, (class of 1968/70). Our home is still in the Turner School District. John joined the Kansas City Police Department in December of 1972, in 1976 he went into the I.D. Bureau of the Department. He grew to love the photography side of it. He became very proficient in photographing crime scenes and in the darkroom. John also had several letters written to his superiors from judges that sat on the court cases he testified at.
