If you have a dream to build yourself a new home, your company a new office or service facility, you already know it can be hard to find all the necessary information just to find out what it would cost to build, what kind of quality level is needed and what type of permits and possibilities you should know about before you start the actual project. That is why we offer a completely free service called the Building Project Requirements interview – and you get to ask an Architect anything you like to find out what you need to be able to decide whether to start your project or not... and when to start it. We realize you might not even hire an architect or proceed past this point, which is why this is obligation free! |

This is an no-obligation concept design phase we offer where we first have a FREE consultation meeting to determine if the client - architect relationship can be beneficial to us and the client, discuss the clients design wishes, space allocations, design inspirations, and sustainable objectives, etc... Then we will prepare a conceptual design customised for the client where he/she will receive basic concept floor plans, elevations and 1 3D rendering. |

Hydrant Studio will take the conceptual design and develop it into a more thorough design, capable of being turned into a complete set of construction documents. During the design development phase, we will make revisions to the design based on desires of the client and in coordination with building codes and regulations requited for proper construction. Also this phase can be crucial in cost effectiveness. As I am sure you understand, the earlier decisions are made on architecture designs the less they cost. If crucial design decisions are left till construction, many extra costs may occur. Note: fee stated is a starting point, is negotiated on a per project basis and is based on the development of a Hydrant Studio Concept Design. |
Contract Documents Phase |

After completing the Design Development phase, Hydrant Studio will take the developed design, create a contract set, coordinated with building material schedules, construction sections, details, specifications, along with other necessary documentation to allow proper fair bidding (if a bid-build project) and efficient construction. The set of construction drawings can be used as part of the contract with the contractor so you building is built as designed and documented for you by the architects at Hydrant Studio. Note: fee stated is a starting point and is negotiated on a per project basis. Also, the contract document fee is a further cost after the design development is completed. |
