EXTERIORS |
We specialize in repainting existing residential homes and anything that needs painting/staining on the property. We typically do not paint new construction or commercial buildings. We have painted more than 2200 residential homes since 1967. We remove old, peeling paint from exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding and pressure washing as needed, leaving a sound surface to accept the finish paint (after priming bare wood). Exterior colors are sometimes plain, so let us help you choose exterior colors. We can suggest colors that will give your house the look of class it deserves. We can help maintain the look of your home, by pressure washing it once a year to keep it clean. We finish decks, railings, arbors and fences. |

INTERIORS |
Protecting the Surfaces Cover up and masking is the first of several important steps. Masking off the baseboards and some other horizontals surfaces is important to protect against roller splatters. Preparing the Surfaces All holes and cracks must be filled with spackle or caulking, being careful to match the existing texture. Excessively dirty surfaces must be cleaned before applying paint. Painting the Surfaces Application on walls and ceilings typically is done with rollers with extension poles and brushes. Packaging the Surfaces This process consists of inspecting all surfaces for "holidays" (missed areas). |

DECKS |
We finish new and existing wood surfaces such as decks, railings, arbors, play structures, patio furniture and fences. We protect them with a natural finish stain that won’t peel or chip. This product contains a wood preservative, water repellent, UV & mildew blocker and light stain. We remove old paint from decks (top horizontal surfaces) if the wood is in good condition. We then stain it, giving a fresh appearance and no more paint peeling. See the middle photo to the right. That deck was painted with gross peeling. Now look at it! Any deck and/or railing surfaces can be a combination of stain and paint, depending on your taste and condition of deck. See the middle photo to the right. |

RAILINGS |
We finish new and existing natural wood railings on houses and decks with a combination of natural finishes and paint. |

PRESSURE WASHING |
We pressure wash exteriors and decks as preparation for finishing and painting. We pressure wash decks in between restaining cycles. We also perform regular maintenance on driveways, walks, bricks, retaining walls. |

MOLDINGS |
We are committed to adding small design elements along with a paint job. We also do repairs as listed below. Much of what we do in this area will improve the look and feel of the paint job we are performing. |

COLOR CONSULTING |
The job of a color consultant is to help the customer visualize the completed look in their mind using a combination of paint chips and possibly wet sample paint outs. Unlike an interior decorator, an exterior color consultant has no interest in selling you new windows, doors or anything. He only wants to enhance what you have or add a design element, such as window trim and multiple colors on the front door area. Jim has over 35 years of doing just this. As a photographer and person who loves the world of color, he comes alive when he is involved in helping you choose colors. |
