Eddie was a sweetheart. He was very accomodating. i bothered him for two weeks with references and more references and changes and questions. all for a $2300 project. most people wouldnt give me thetime and respect that I needed. my driveway was done in three days and on the fourth day he was all cleaned up and finished. if only he fixed cars... lol . I dont know if Eddie would refer me as a customer but I certainly Would refer him for concrete

Well, its a shame to see these. Eddie was the greatest. For me, nothing could have been better. he was a pleasure to talk to, he was very creative and his work just looks above and beyond. thats what i wanted! i wanted to make sure my yard was one of the best. Eddie spelled out our payments and everything was just as we planned. We built a swimmming pool, sitting walls, patio, and pool deck. his price was lower than the rest(even though he says he's more expensive than most others) only issue was concrete color, but he fixed it as soon as we told him we wanted darker.

Smooth and sweet! i called him with 24 hours before i needed a patio poured. he was accomodating and met me twice before we paid him anything, and then gave him the check for the full payment. He came in at 6am the next morning and poured a beautiful stamped concrete patio! i was only paying fo a broom finish. i would definately recommend him to my friends and family.

Eddie (of Concrete Genie) did do the work for us last week and did a great job. They did a great job on the finish work and were working in the dark on Thursday night after showing up at 7:20 am. I am happy with the job they did and would recommend them to others.
Thank you,
Kyle Turner

I have had the great pleasure to work with Concrete Genie and Cedar Park Concrete on a number of projects. As a contractor, it is always relieving to know that you're working with somebody who is going to do the right thing the first time! Eddie with Concrete Genie absolutely is a pleasure to work with and definitely knows his business! I would highly recommend Concrete Genie & Cedar Park Concrete for all of your concrete and construction needs!

Very disappointing experience that I periodically re-live when I go outside.
When the day arrived for the work to begin, a man showed up and began laying forms. Although Eddie and I had talked extensively about what I wanted done, this man wasn't sure what was to be done. There was a language barrier that made it difficult to communicate. I had assumed the man worked for Eddie, but it turned out he was a day laborer who had just met Eddie and had been sent to my house without clear instructions. Eddie showed up later in the day to check on progress. I'm not a concrete expert but I didn't have a lot of confidence in how things were looking; I expressed my reservations to Eddie which he brushed aside saying he didn't think there would be any problem proceeding with pouring the concrete.
The following day the concrete truck and crew arrived. Eddie dropped by to check on things. I'm not sure the men working had much experience with concrete and they were, without question, over their heads with the size of the job. The concrete began to set-up in places before it was floated. Since it wasn't formed properly it looked awful with concrete spilling out in some places and bending the forms in others. Where you expect straight lines there are inexplicable deviations. The curved portions were anything but smooth. I had been at work and when I returned home I was crushed to find such poor workmanship and the yard left such a mess. Eddie promised me he would be back to clean things up. A man did come by the next day and took off the forms and removed most of the lumber. The mess remained and I ended up spending hours cleaning it up. Eddie eventually showed up a couple weeks later to add some coloring and try and sell me on an additional project. Within weeks the concrete began to chip in places and I even found some wood mulch making its appearance just under the surface.
It's not like I saved money by going with a discount contractor; the project ended up costing much more than I had planned (and sadly much more than my neighbors spent on similar square footage). Unsurprisingly, I wasn't asked if I would be a reference.
