Duy Tran specializes in documentary and portrait photography in the DC area. Duy is a graduate of the Art Institute of Washington, and was a participant in the Columbia Heights West Teen Photo Project. He was 13 when they handed him a camera with almost unlimited film that was funded by grants. His service to the community with this group has been covered by local channel 7 News, the Arlington Virginia Network, and published in Harvard's magazine, "Ed." , Sun Gazette and The Washington Post. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian: Americana exhibit, and ArtHouse in Washington, DC, and at both Flux, Columbia Pike Library, and Ellipse Art Center in Arlington, VA.
