There is not much to say other than Mariah is a highly professional and talented photographer. She was punctual, flexible, charismatic, and quick. Aside from the fact Mariah took hundreds of frames and got them up on flickr for me in a matter of hours, her price is great! Senior photos are a luxury for a lot of us and Mariah has made them more accessible for everyone. My mom was so impressed by the shots that she is going to hire Mariah for family photos too!

Mariah shot my seniors photos in the Fall of 2008. She was flexible with shooting at several locations of my choice and also worked with me in different outfits. Mariah's talent at photography made the pictures come out already finished looking with almost no need to brighten or change the contrast on the computer afterwards. However she did a few touch ups and the photos came out gorgeous! Affordable, flexible and professional. Thanks Mariah!

Mariah is a great business woman and a fantastic photographer! She is a joy to work with and produces beautiful photos. She took my senior portraits and they were edited and posted on Facebook and Flickr for me to see later that same evening. Mariah provided an efficient but not rushed shoot lasting 2 hours and charged only $80 (while my classmates pay hundreds to get their portraits with other photographers) and I couldn't be happier with the result! No complaints whatsoever.

Wow… where do I even start when there is so much to say about Mariah Gentry Photography??!! I was continually impressed with Mariah, from the first correspondence to final delivery of all images and media products.
I was a “bride on a budget” and Mariah happily negotiated a package price that fit both of our needs.
Let me assure you, from start to finish, I got more than what I paid for!
Mariah is professional, friendly, caring, and warm; her personality and spirit fits in perfectly with the nature of events on a wedding day.
Within Mariah’s website she claims, “A sophisticated-youthfulness echoes from the depths of my images.” No other words could more completely or honestly describe her work. Mariah caught every important part of the day; she caught every emotion, every intimate moment… of everyone within our group. She found a way to capture not only our genuine softness, but also our fun quirkiness, in every shot she took. Mariah’s photographs give life to the memories of our day.
Digitally edited images were available to us online within 2 days. I was so surprised by their quality, clarity, color, but most of all by the diversity of feelings that were captured throughout the entire set. Those images were followed up with prompt delivery of all products to my home. It was clear Mariah had listened to everything we had asked of her in regards to the different shots we would like to have from the big day because they were all there.
Another statement Mariah’s makes on her website is that she provides, “Quality, Creativity, and Affordability.” Without a doubt, Mariah, went above and beyond my expectations in all three of these areas.

Mariah was absolutely wonderful to work with. She made having photos taken of myself and my new wife at our a wedding an absolute breeze! They were there early before the wedding and captured everything from the pre-wedding fun, to the post wedding relaxed photos at Gasworks.
Never once did it feel uncomfortable for forced, it was all very natural and a very relaxing process. There was so much emotion in the photos, that they speak volumes to the talent (both technically and visually) that I'd gladly recommend her to any of my friends who are having weddings or special events.

Mariah photographed my wedding at Court in the Square in Seattle. She also took our engagement pictures at Pike Place Market. From the very first email I received from Mariah, I knew she was a bright and talented professional. Upon meeting her in person I was immediately reassured of my impression of her. She was so fabulous to work with. She is very calm and has a very sweet personality. She has a great mix of giving direction to the shoot but also open to incorporating requests from her clients. We had Mariah shoot in multiple locations for both the engagement shoot and for the wedding and all the pictures turned out amazing. She captured the lighting and really made the best of the setting around us. She is extremely responsive and easy to work with. Mariah Gentry is amazing. Out of all the people who I worked with on this wedding (and there were a lot) she was the most professional, organized, attentive, and supportive.
Out engagement pictures were a big hit with every one. During the shoot she made made us very relaxed, (and my husband is camera shy) and at the same time was very attentive to detail. And, I know a good photographer when I see the pictures, I was a professional model for years. This woman has a real talent ,and that cannot be taught.
But, when the wedding pictures arrived today, I was in tears. There was a lot of heart that went into this wedding (I was a DIY Bride) and she caught every detail of my hand made work.She even remembered that detail was very important to me. Our wedding was all about the people....our friends and family. She caught every picture of every person I asked her too, and they look wonderful, she not only caught the photos, she captured the love and happiness in each and every one. Every picture, every single one is special.
And, the amazing thing is she did that with a completely crazed bride! She was very calm with me, I was very demanding and nervous, and she handheld me like a pro!
I cannot recommend this woman enough. If you want someone who is going to pay deep attention to you, who you are, and what you wedding is about this is the photographer for you.

I am so happy we chose Mariah to photograph our wedding. She was extremly responsive beforehand, e-mail back in a timely manner and answering all my questions. On the wedding day she arrived early to the location and scouted out some spots that would work for the "first look" and family pictures. All the photos turned out amazing and there was a good mix of location, color, and posed pictures versus more casual pictures. She was very professional but also had an easygoing attitude that made me very comfortable. She was open to our suggetions but also provided feedback and ideas on what would work well. This is the second time Mariah has worked with our family for shots of us and our young son. We met at a park on a gorgeous day and she was ready to go! What I like about Mariah is how flexible she is. She works with what she's got (in this case, a toddler who won't sit still!) and captures great shots. I recommend her to everyone! Mariah is fabulous. It was a cold day and my baby only had a short nap that day. She worked hard for smiles and captured lots of great shots!
She knew we were anxious to look at the photos and use them for the holiday season. She had an initial set for us to review within 24-48h and was extremely accessible.
I was also impressed with her thoughfulness and responsiveness around scheduling and weather conditions (that may affect our baby).

My husband and I recently asked Mariah to get some photographs of us as a couple. We had a blast! Mariah was punctual, professional and a ton of fun. Very easy going and very aware of the conditions she was photographing in, such as lighting, backgrounds, etc. The turn around time for receiving the photos was spectacular! She was so excited, she turned them around and had them posted on flickr unbelievably quick! The pictures are amazing; even lighting and accurate color!
