| Fitness Program | 30 min | Before the invention of fancy gym equipment, martial artists have always known how to keep in shape. Our fitness classes are fun and creative and designed to take you to your next level. Kicking, punching, jumping, sit ups, push-ups and holding balanced stances are just part of our high energy circuit training curriculum. All exercises are self-paced and adaptable so people of all fitness levels can participate. Our super-focused 30 minute workouts rotate curriculum every 4-6 weeks so it never gets dull. |

| Matthew Noell | 2nd degree black belt. Matthew has been training Poekoelan for more than 12 years. He is an avid mountain biker, motorcycle enthusiast, and father to a hyperactive toddler. |
| Eric Hennings | 2nd degree black belt. Eric been training Poekoelan for over 12 years and teaches many of the special workshops at Fifth River. When not teaching Poekoelan, he likes to rock climb. |
| Chantrelle Johanson | 3rd degree black belt. Chantrelle has been training Poekoelan since 1994. In addition to teaching Poekoelan, Chantrelle directs the self-defense program for women and kids at Fifth River. She enjoys snowboarding, being a mom, and any activity that involves being in the mountains. |
| Joseph Willging | Cun Tao black belt. Joseph started training at Fifth River in 2004 and is a green sash in the Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen system. He completed an intensive apprenticeship program to attain the Cun Tao black belt teaching rank and is the head instructor of our kid's Cun Tao program. Joseph is an accomplished rock climber and commutes from Stanwood where he lives with his wife and daughter. |
