There a various reason why a person might want to hire a professional engagement photographer. Since I am an engagement photographer, I'm a little bit biased. However, I'll give you the real scoop on why it is important to hire one before your big day.
1. Memories Are Important!
After a few years of marriage, you're really going to wish you had some high quality pictures taken with your mate where you both were relaxed and in love. You are also going to want to document the engagement period of your lives. Furthermore, wedding pictures involve you guys being dressed formally. You're just not yourselves! An engagement shoot is fun, informal, and romantic. Just the way you want to remember your days before marriage.
2. Show Off Your Love!
Don't you want the whole world to see where you are at in this period of your life? To see you in love? To see who you are with? To see how good looking, kind, and fun they are! If so...then do an engagement shoot!
3. Professional Photos.
Ask the photographer to do a couple of shots of you guys by yourselves. You can use these head shots for linked in profiles and other professional purposes. The high quality photos of you guys together can be framed for the house, office, family, wedding invitations. and memory albums.
4. It's A Romantic Date!
An engagement shoot can be just the fun, romantic, relaxing date one needs during the stressful wedding planning time. Its not possible that 30 hugs, 75 kisses, and 200 smiles won't make you feel better.
