Design Project Preparation

Before tackling an interior design project it is important to analyze yourself and the way you live.

Think about what makes you happy and what makes you feel good.

Do research about what you are interest in and start creating a file of images that you have ripped out of a magazine or saw somewhere on the internet that appeal to you. It could be as simple as a paint color and as detailed as a kitchen that you would like to translate into your own home.

Write down all the issues that you want to address. This is a crucial part that can be resolved in the design phase.

It is also good to keep in mind that it will be a journey. It takes time to create beautiful meticulous interiors. The more detail, construction and furnishings involved in the project- the more preperation needs to take place. On the other hand, when a project is in so many layers the results will be magnificent.
